LAND RESOURCE UTILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE (LRU&I) DIVISION
1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Doctoral degree in the topics related to RS&GIS/ Geoinformatics
OR
Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics
OR
Master’s degree in relevant subject (Urban Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Architecture/ Geography/ Earth Sciences.) with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from recognized institution/ university.
Experience: Two years relevant experience.
Desirable: i) A proven record in writing project reports/ scientific papers. / ii) Proficiency in GIS and Image Processing Software’s (like Arc GIS and ERDAS Imagine etc.) using Remote Sensing (Satellite, Aerial Photos, UAV Images etc.) for detailed Mapping and GIS data generation project./ iii) Excellent knowledge and trouble shooting of GIS/ Autocad and related software & tools.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.30000/- per month.
2. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics
OR Master’s degree in relevant subject (Urban Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Architecture/ Geography/ Earth Sciences.) or equivalent with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from recognized institution /university.

II. AGRO-ECOSYSTEM AND CROP MODELLING DIVISION
3. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (INF. TECHNOLOGY)

Educational Qualification: Master degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering with Good Knowledge of agriculture based applications
OR Masters in Agricultural Sciences with good knowledge of computer applications to develop and work for Remote Sensing and GIS based agricultural applications.
Desirable: i) Experience in open source GIS, Webportal/ Geoportal Development, RDBMS for GIS support.
ii) Six Months to onq year or more relevant experience.

4. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SOCIOECONOMIST)

Educational Qualification: i) Master’s degree or equivalent in RS&GIS/ Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension/ Social Sciences.
ii) Good Knowledge of agriculture based applications and computer applications to work for Remote Sensing and GIS based agricultural applications.
Desirable: i) Experience in collecting & analysing socio economic data.
ii) Six Months to one year or more relevant experience.

5. RESEARCH FELLOW (WEB DEVELOPER – ASP.NET)
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: First Class B.E./ B.Tech. with two year Web Application Development experience
OR
Master’s in Information Technology (IT)/ Electronics and Communication (EC)/ Computer Science (CS)/ Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), with One year Web Application Development experience.
Desirable: Two year or more experience with due weightage.

6. RESEARCH FELLOW (WEB SERVER ADMINISTRATOR – GEOSERVER)

7. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER – GEOSERVER)

III. ADVANCED GEOSPATIAL APPLICATION GROUP (AGAG)
8. PROJECT FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate/ Post Graduate in Geography with Postgraduate Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS
OR
Master degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics.
Age Limit: Maximum 37 years as on the date of interview.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.12000/- per month.
9. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (SOIL AND WATER)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate with at least 50% marks.
Experience: One year experience in handling of soil and water samples for laboratory analysis.
Age Limit: Maximum 37 years as on the date of interview.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.12000/- (Rs.10,000/- per month for unexperienced candidates) per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis for a period of six months likely to be extended based on candidate’s performance and project requirements. The selected candidates shall be posted at any locations namely- Ludhiana, Chandigarh, SAS Nagar (Mohali) and anywhere in Punjab.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST/BC/PHC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written/ Practical and Skill Test. The tests will be on 17.05.2018 and 18.05.2018.
