Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is recruiting 525 candidates for the post of “Assistant” for vacancies in different offices of RBI across the country. Eligible and Interested candidates may submit their application form Online only from the official website of RBI. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below. Qualification Required: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of Computer Application such as – word processing (MS Word, Etc)
Candidates applying for post in a particular state should be proficient in the language of the state i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 01-05-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.8040—20100 plus other allowances as per norms. Starting basic pay is Rs.8860/- per month.

Selection Steps: Selection of the candidates will be through Online Examination and Interview. The Online Examination will be for 200 marks and is tentatively scheduled to be held on 20.07.2013/ 21.07.2013/ 27.07.2013 and 28.07.2013

Test will be objective types on following topics — Test of Reasoning (40 marks), Test of English language (40 marks), Test of Numerical Ability (40 marks), Test of General Awareness (40 marks) and Test of Computer Knowledge (40 marks). 
The questions will be set in both English and Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers.
The online test will be conducted across many centres in India (Refer the Advt.)

How to Apply: Apply Online from the official website of RBI (Live url is given below) from 30/05/2013 to 20/06/2013.
During Online application, candidates will require to upload scan copy of their passport size photograph and signature.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay fee of Rs.400/- through Online system during fillup of the application by Credit card/ Debit Card or Net Banking OR can be paid offline by means of fee challan from any branches of – Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED FOR SC/ST/PWD AND EX-SERVICEMEN.

For Offline fee payment — Fee payment challan will be generated automatically after submission of Online application form (Refer the Advt. for details)

After final submission of application fee, computer generated Registration slip with uniqe ID/ Password will be generated, candidates must note it down and print-out it on blank paper for future correspondence.
There is no need to send any documents/ print-out application to anywhere.  Candidates may apply for any one the State/Offices.

Last Date of Application: Online Application form can be submitted till 20th June,2013
Application Fee (offline) can be paid till 24/06/2013.
Tentative date of Online Test – 20th June, 21st June, 27th June and 28th June,2013.
