RESEARCH ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 26 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
i) M.V.Sc., (Micro-biology, Pathology, Parasitology, Dairy Micro-biology and Animal Biotechnology) or its equivalent qualification from recognized University or Institution.
ii) Must have passed Tamil as one of the languages in Higher Secondary Public Examination or its equivalent.
iii) Must be a Registered Veterinary Practitioner.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.55500 – 175700/-
The vacancies are in the Institute of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Ranipet, in the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Service. The candidates will be appointed through Direct Recruitment.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms. No maximum age limit (i.e candidates should not have completed 58 years) for SC/ SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC(OBCM), BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Oral Test (Interview). The Written Examination will be held on 30/06/2019. The examination will be conducted at the following centres namely Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore. Oral Test will be conducted tentatively in September 2019.
