CSIR – National Physical Laboratory is recruiting eligible candidates for 06 posts of Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant. The vacancies are for different Projects mentioned below. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a maximum period of five (05) years. CSIR – NATIONAL PHYSICAL LABORATORY WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 06 POSTS OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW AND PROJECT ASSISTANT. WALK-IN DATE — 29/08/2018

 

1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Project wise vacancies:
i) National carbonaceous aerosol programme (NCAP): 02 posts
ii) Megacity Delhi atmospheric emission quantification assessment and impacts (DelhiFlux): 01 post
iii) Study of seasonal variation of ozone precursors in relation with surface ozone over Delhi, a mega city: 01 post
iv) Chemical composition and source apportionment of aerosols using receptor models at urban sites of the Himalayan region of India: 01 post
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics/ Chemistry/ Environmental Science) with 1st Division plus NET Qualified/ B.Tech in Environmental Science/ Environmental Engg./ Atmospheric Science with NET/ GATE qualified/ M.Tech in Environmental Science/ Environmental Engg./ Atmospheric Science.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 29/08/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.

 

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Nameo of Project: National carbonaceous aerosol programme (NCAP).
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics/ Chemistry/ Environmental Science) with 1st Division.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 29/08/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 21,000/- per month.

 

The vacancies are for different Projects on Contract basis for a maximum period of five (05) years. Candidates awaiting for results/ final semester appeared or appearing/ Ph.D submitted etc. are not eligible to apply.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
