Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is recruiting 37 Nos. Research Officer in Grade ‘B’ (DEPR/ DSIM), Rajbhasha Officer, Manager (Technical- Civil/ Electrical). Eligible and Interested candidates may apply Online from the official website of RBI. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (RBI) REQUIRES 37 RESEARCH OFFICER, RAJBHASHA OFFICER AND MANAGER (CIVIL/ ELECTRICIAL). APPLY ONLINE WITHIN 07.06.2013 

1. Research Officer in Grade ‘B’ for Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR): 10 Nos. (Gen—05; SC—02; ST—01; OBC—02)
Qualification: A Master’s Degree in Economics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years OR A Doctorate Degree in Economics with Master’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years
Age: Between 21yrs to 30yrs.

2. Research Officer in Grade ‘B’ for Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM): 17 Nos. (Gen—12; OBC—05)
Qualification: A Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects OR M.Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years
Age: between 21yrs to 30yrs.

3. Rajbhasha Officer in Grade ‘A’: 6 nos. (Gen—03; SC—01; ST—01; OBC—01)
Qualification: Second Class Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation, with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR Second Class Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR Second Class Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Economics/Commerce with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelor’s Degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree)OR Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second Class.
Experience: At least three years’ experience in coining of Glossary or English to Hindi translation and vice-versa.
Age: Not above 30yrs.

4. Manager (Technical – Civil) in Grade ‘B’: 3 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience after graduation.
Age: Not above 35yrs.

5. Manager (Technical – Electrical) in Grade ‘B’: 1 nos. (Gen)
Qualification: B.E./B. Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years.
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience after graduation.
Age: Not above 35yrs.

Upper age relaxation: Age will be counted as on 01-05-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others- As per norms.

After final submission of Online application form, candidates must print-out the system generated application form and must retain it safely for future correspondence. There is no send the print-out slip to anywhere.

Application fee: Rs.100/-  by means of fee challan receipt or can be paid online during filling up the application.
For offline submission of Application fee, candidates must print-out the fee challan, which will be generated by the system, from the bank’s website and should deposit the prescribed amount through any one of the banks, viz. Bank of Baroda / Bank of India / Bank of Maharashtra/ Indian Overseas Bank / Central Bank of India / Punjab National Bank / United Bank of India.
Fee payment will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days at any above mentioned branch (in case of Offline fee payment only). Candidates opting to pay through Online system can deposit the fee on the same day while filling the online application. Refer the Advt. for details.
