Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is recruiting 36 eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical/ Civil) for its offices situated in different Zones across the country. 1. JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)
Number of Vacancies: 23 posts. (Including all Zones) (Gen—17; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—3). Ex-Servicemen—3.
Educational Qualification: Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).
2. JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)
Number of Vacancies: 13 posts. (Including all Zones) (Gen—7; ST—1; OBC—5).
Educational Qualification: Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).
Experience Required (for all posts) —Minimum two years if Diploma holders and One year if Degree holder, in the respective field.
Note: Candidate should know how to read/ write and speak one of the Official Languages of the State/ UT in the Zone.
Age Limit: Between 20 and 30yrs as on 29-12-2014. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates; Widow/Divorcee & Legally separated women – 5yrs; Domiciled of J&K – 5yrs and 10 years for PWD candidates. Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.8040—Rs.20100 plus other allowances as per norms. Starting basic pay will be Rs.12,370/- per month
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be through Online Examination and Interview. The Online Examination will be for 200 marks and is scheduled to be held tentatively on February 04, 2015. The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India (See pdf below)

Application Fee: Rs.450/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Serviceman. Fee is to be paid online during submission of online application form by means of Credit/Debit card or Net banking.
Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and shall retain the same safely for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/ DOCUMENTS TO THE BANK AT THIS STAGE.
