Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Mumbai, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 134 posts of Officers (General), Grade ‘B’. RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (RBI) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 134 POSTS OF OFFICERS (GENERAL), GRADE ‘B’. LAST DATE — 23/10/2015

 

1. Officers (General) Grade “B”: 134 Nos. (Gen – 67; SC-15; ST-13; OBC-39) (Out of total vacancies, 04 vacancies are reserved for PWD candidates)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) (aggregate percentage for all semesters/years) as well as Higher Secondary & Matriculation (i.e Class 12 and Class 10) pass with minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD)

 

Age Limit: Between 21 and 30 years as on 01/10/2015

 

Pay Scale: Rs.21000/- – Rs.36400/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through ON-LINE Examinations and interview. Online Examination will be in two phases. Candidates who will qualify Phase-I (Objective type) will be eligible to sit in Phase-II online examination.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II.

Examination will be at various centres across the Country.
In West Bengal, the examination centre will be at – Berhampore (WB), Durgapur, Kolkata, Greater Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, Kalyani, Siliguri.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.850/- (Fee + Intimation Charges) for General and OBC candidates AND Rs.100/- (Intimation charges) for SC/ST/PWD candidates as Application Fee.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/ DOCUMENTS TO RBI AT THIS STAGE.
