1. SCIENTIST ‘C’
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) M.Sc. in Physics/ Astrophysics/ Atmospheric Science or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks and Ph.D degree.
ii) One year Post-Doctoral research experience and good research contribution in the areas of Astronomy/ Astrophysics/ Atmospheric Science.
iii) Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Observations/ Instrumentation.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 16/11/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600- 39,100/- with Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-
2. INFORMATION SCIENTIST
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Master of Library & Information Science from a recognized University with 55% marks.
Experience: Two/ Three years experience in the field of Library & Information Science, preferably in a Library in a scientific/ research organization.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 16/11/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600- 39,100/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
3. PERSONAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
ii) Speed in short hand @ 80 w.p.m. in English or Hindi.
ii) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 16/11/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300- 34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
4. JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT

Educational Qualification: Two year ITI certificate in Electrician/ Electronic.
Experience: Minimum 05 years post qualification experience in the same trade.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 16/11/2018.

5. JUNIOR SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT

Educational Qualification: 12th standard pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Experience: Three years post qualification experience in scientific institute/ laboratory.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 16/11/2018.

6. LOWER DIVISION CLERK
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: i) 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from recognized Board.
ii) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 16/11/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
7. DRIVER ‘B’
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from a recognized board.
ii) Possession of valid driving licence for motor cars and heavy vehicles.
iii) Knowledge of motor mechanics. The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle.
Experience: At least 03 years experience of driving a motor cars and heavy vehicles in hilly area.
Desirable: Three year experience as Home Guard/ Civil Volunteers.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 16/11/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
8. CONSULTANT (FINANCE & ACCOUNTS)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate in any discipline from recognised University.
ii) Preference will be given to SAS qualified.
iii) The candidate should be a retired officer of the level of Under Secretary/ Senior Accounts Officer/ Accounts Officer/ Finance Officer/ Deputy Secretary of the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous body or equivalent having experience of handling accounts and finance.
iv) Must be able to work in MS Word, PowerPoint and should be proficient in noting, drafting and examining the cases.
Age Limit: Maximum 65 years as on 16/11/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 40,000/- per month.
9. CONSULTANT (ADMINISTRATION)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate in any discipline from recognised University.

For the posts at Sl. no. 1 to 7, the candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
For the post of Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Consultant (Administration), the candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially for a period of One (01) year/ Eleven (11) months.
