The candidates will be appointed on Fixed Term Contract Basis for a period of three (03) years for ground duties at Kolkata Airport. SECURITY AGENTS
No. of Vacancies: 63 Nos. (Male: 53 posts (Gen-28, SC-12, ST-03, OBC-10 & Female: 10 posts (Gen-05, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-02)
Educational Qualification:
A. For AVSEC qualified candidates:
i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with ability to speak Hindi, English and conversant with local language.
ii) Must possess valid BCAS Basic AVSEC certification (12 days new pattern).
Preferable:
i) BCAS Certified XBIS Screener (Valid Certification).
ii) BCAS Certified In-Line Screener (Valid Certification).
B. For Non-AVSEC candidates:
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with ability to speak Hindi, English and conversant with local language.
Preferable:
i) NCC ‘B’/ ‘C Certificate.
ii) Proficiency in Fire fighting
iii) Knowledge of Industrial Security
iv) Knowledge in Disaster Management
v) Knowledge of unarmed combat
vi) Legal knowledge
vii) Armed forces/ Police backgrounds
viii) Diploma/ Certification course in Computers.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (maximum 31 years for AVSEC qualified candidates) as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,190/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Fixed Term Contract Basis for a period of three (03) years for ground duties at Kolkata Airport.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates, 165 cms for SC & OBC candidates)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (150 cms for ST candidates, 155 cms for SC & OBC candidates)
Note: For Gorkhas and those hailing from North-East States and hilly areas, the requirement of height will be as applicable to ST candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Endurance Test, Written Test and Personality Assessment wherever applicable.
