1. SENIOR ASSISTANT

No. of Vacancies: 34 Nos.

 

Educational Qualification:

i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
ii) Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hand on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Govt. recognized Institution or a reputed Institution, which is ISO 9001 certified.
OR
Possesses a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Govt. of India.

iii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2019.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.4400/-

 

The vacancies are in the Department of Cooperation, Government of Punjab.

The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of three years.

Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Punjab shall be treated as General Candidates.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC & OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Competitive Examination and Typewriting Test.

Application Fee & Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.3000/- (Rs.1125/- for SC/ST of all States and BC category of Punjab, Rs.1750/- for PWD candidates of Punjab & Rs.500/- for Ex-servicemen of Punjab) as Application Fee and Examination Fee.
