INDIAN ARMY, INDEPENDENT RECRUITING OFFICE DELHI CANTT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER), SOLDIER NURSING/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETENNARY, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN. 1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: i) SSLC/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
ii) No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification (10+2 and above). However minimum 33% in each subject required.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1998 to 01/04/2002.

 

2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Math and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER)
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Math and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
OR
Three year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Instrumentation).
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

4. SOLDIER NURSING/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETENNARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
OR
In case the candidate has B.Sc degree with (Botany/ Zoology/ Bioscience) and English, the stipulation of percentage in class 12th is waived off. However the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in class 12th also.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

5. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in each subject.
ii) Should have studied and passed English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each Subject

Note:- Even if a candidate is a graduate or has a higher qualification percentage marks in 12th would be applicable towards his eligibility.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
ii) Class 8th Simple pass for Syce, Mess Keeper and House keeper.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 1st July, 2019 to 21st July, 2019 at Tau Devilal Stadium, Gurugram (Haryana).

NOTE: Only Male candidates from Delhi state, districts of Faridabad, Gurugram, Mewat and Palwal of Haryana state are eligible to apply

 

Physical Standards:

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162 cms for Sl. No. 5); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms (76 cms for Sl. No. 6); Chest (expanded) — 82 cms (81 cms for Sl. No. 6); Weight — 50 cms (48 cms for Sl. No. 6)
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement, Medical Test and Written Test.
