SPORTSPERSON
No. of Vacancies: 21 Nos.
The vacancies are in the following Sports disciplines: Basket Ball, Boxing, Cricket, Hockey, Aquatics (Water Polo), Kabaddi, Volley Ball, Weight Lifting and Wrestling. For sports wise vacancies, please see the Official Advt.
Educational Qualification:
i) For Level- 5/ 4:- Minimum Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University.
ii) For Level- 3/ 2:- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination.
OR
Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
OR
Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
The vacancies are against Open Advertisement Sports Quota for the year 2019-20. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Note: Sports achievements in sports events on or after 01/04/2017 will be considered for appointment to the above posts. For Sports Qualification Norms please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Trials.
