Sports discipline wise vacancies:
A) Level 4/ Level 5:-
i) Hockey (Women): 02 posts
B) Level 2/ Level 3:-
ii) Basketball (Women): 03 posts
iii) Basketball (Men): 01 post
iv) Cricket (Men): 02 posts
v) Gymnastic (women): 02 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Level 5: A University degree or its equivalent examination.
ii) For Level 4: 12th (10+2) passed with Physics and Math in higher secondary examination OR 10th passed plus ITI or its equivalent (NAC from NCVT) examination for technical category.
iii) For Level 2 & Level 3: 12th (10+2) or its equivalent examination for NTPC & 10th pass plus ITI for technical category or equivalent (NAC from NCVT) or 12th (10+2) passed with Physics and Math in higher secondary examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2019.
Sports Eligibility:
A. For Level 5/ Level 4:
i) Represented the Country in Olympics Games (Senior Category).
OR
ii) Atleast 3rd position in any of the following Championships/ Events:-
a) World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category),
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category),
v) Asian Games (Senior Category),
d) Common Wealth Games (Senior Category).
B. For Level 3/ Level 2:
i) Represented the Country in any of the following Championships/ Events:-
a) World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category),
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category),
c) Asian Games (Senior Category),
d) Common Wealth Games (Senior Category)
OR
ii) At least 3rd Position in any of the following Championships/ Events:-
a) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/ Senior Category),
b) Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category),
c) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category),
d) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
OR
iii) At least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
iv) At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association.
OR
v) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the ageis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR
vi) 1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category).
The vacancies are for recruitment against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2018-19 in Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW).
Candidates who are appearing and/or awaiting results of final examination are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Sports Trial, Interview, Educational Qualification and Sports Achievements.
