Educational Qualification:
i) For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer: (a) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. (b) Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics is desirable.
ii) For Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level
OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
iii) For All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years. Maximum 27 years for the post of Inspector and maximum 32 years for the post of Junior Statistical Officer as on 01/08/2018.
On the basis of the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2018 the candidates will be selected for Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards: Please see the Official Advt. for details regarding Physical Standards for the posts of Inspector/ Sub-Inspector.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination, Written Examination, Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification. The examination will be held at various centres across India. The Computer Based Examination (Tire-I) will be held from 25/07/2018 to 20/08/2018.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/WOMEN/EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
