State Bank of India (SBI) requires 1500 Probationary Officer. Apply Online from 30-01-2013 to 23/02/2013.

State Bank of India is recruiting 1500 Boys and Girls for the post of “Probationary Officer” in the bank. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online from the official website of the Bank. Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria as well as information in brief is given below —

PROBATIONARY OFFICERS
No. of Vacancies: 1500 (Gen—758; OBC—405; SC—225; ST—112). Out of total vacancies; 44nos. PWD (VH—22; OH—22)

Qualification: Graduation in any Discipline or equivalent.

Age Limits: Not below 21yrs and not above 30yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PWD—10yrs and Others—as per norms.

Pay scale: Rs.14500—25700. Starting basic pay is Rs.16900/-

Selection of the candidates will be in two phase—
Phase-I: Written Examination of 250 marks consisting of Objective Test and Descriptive Test.
Objective Test will be on following subjects — (a) Test of English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc), (b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers, (c) Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation and (d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
Descriptive Test will be on — “Test of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)”
Phase-II: Group Discussion of 20 marks and Interview of 30 marks.

Written Examination will be on 28-04-2013 and will be held at respective centres of SBI available State wise. (Refer the Advt. for details. Link given below)

Application fee: Rs.200/- for General and Others AND Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Application fee can be paid Offline or Online.
Fee will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days at any branch of State Bank of India. System generated fee payment challan will be used for depositing fee. Once fee is paid, the registration process is completed.
Candidates may pay the fee online during making the online application fee. No Fee Payment Challan will be generated in this case.

After successful submission of Online application fee; print-out the Registration Slip and retain safely for future use.

The candidates should download their call letter and an “acquaint yourself” booklet by entering their registration number and password / date of birth, after 08.04.2013 from the Bank’s website.

Last Date of Application: Online Application Form can be made from dated – 30-01-2013 to 23-02-2013. (Application fee can be paid from 01-02-2013 to 28-02-2013).
Date of Written Examination: 28-04-2013 (Sunday)
