No. of Vacancies: 68 Nos. (Male: 49 posts (UR-24, OBC/MOBC-15, SC-03, ST-07), Female: 19 posts (UR-10, OBC/MOBC-06, SC-01, ST-02))
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science).
OR
Three year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent with 02 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment.
OR
Three year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and 02 years additional course/ courses in Telecommunication/ IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 24 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.14000- 49000/- with Grade pay Rs. 8700/-
The vacancies are in Assam Police Radio Organisation. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidate must be ordinarily a resident of Assam.
The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of three years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC/MOBC category.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 162.56 cm (160.02 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cm (78 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cm (83 cm for ST)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 154.94 cm (152.40 cm for ST candidates)
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Extra-Curricular Activities and Technical Proficiency.
