1. SUB- INSPECTOR OF POLICE (UN-ARMED BRANCH) MEN
No. of Vacancies: 44 Nos. (UR-24, SC-09, ST-11)
Educational Qualification: At least Gaduate in any discipline.
Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali/ Kokborok.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5700 – 24,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/-
2. SUB- INSPECTOR OF POLICE (UN-ARMED BRANCH) WOMEN
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: At least Gaduate in any discipline.
Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali/ Kokborok.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5700 – 24,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/-
3. SUB- INSPECTOR OF POLICE (ARMED BRANCH) MEN
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: At least Gaduate in any discipline.
Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali/ Kokborok.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5700 – 24,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/-
The vacancies are under the Home Department, Government of Tripura. Both Men and Women candidates are eligible to apply.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Tripura shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PH category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 168 Cms (163 Cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 79 Cms (76 Cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 84 Cms (81 Cms for ST).
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 152 Cms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination and Personality Test.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
