ASSISTANT HORTICULTURAL OFFICER

Educational Qualification:
i) Pass in Higher Secondary Examination.
ii) Pass in the two years Diploma course in Horticulture in the Institutions approved by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University or Director of Horticulture and Plantation Crops or from the Gandhigram Rural Institute.
iii) Candidate should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.07.2018. No Maximum Age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes.
Pay Scale: Rs. 20,600 – 65,500/-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for PWD category and Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination. Examination will be held on 11.08.2018 at the following centres namely Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichirappalli, Tirunelveli, Salem and Thanjavur.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Examination Fee and Registration Fee Rs.150/- (candidates who have already registered in One-Time Registration system are exempted from paying the registration fee). Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan.
