Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission: Applications are invited from eligible candidates only through online mode up to 04.03.2023 for direct recruitment to the posts included in the Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination. It is mandatory for applicants to register their basic particulars through a one-time online registration system on payment of Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards the registration fee and then they should apply online for this recruitment. [The one-time registration will be valid for five years from the date of registration. Thereafter, the registration should be renewed by paying the prescribed fee] Time Registration will not be considered as an application for any post. Overseer / Junior Draughting Officer – 794
Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering: Provided that preference shall be given to the persons possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Junior Draughting Officer – 236
Educational Qualification:
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any University or Institution awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of the concerned State Government;
Junior Draughting Officer – 18
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India, or by the All India Council for Technical Education;
Draughtsman, Grade – III – 10
Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training
- Must possess a Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training
Foreman, Grade II – 25
Educational Qualification:
- A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.E., Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Application Fees:
- Registration Fee – Rs.150/-
- Examination Fee – Rs.100/-
Selection Process:
- Selection will be made in a single stage, based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. A tentative list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be announced on the Commission’s website. After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for final selection through the counseling method.
The applicant who has not appeared for any of the subjects in the examination will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures the minimum qualifying marks for selection. (For further details refer to para 18(C) of the “Instructions to applicants”.
