Educational Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

- Registration Fee – 150/-
- Examination Fee For Both Interview & Non-Interview posts – 200/-
- Examination Fee For Non-Interview posts only – 100/-
Selection Process:
- For Interview posts: – Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Examination (OMR/Computer-Based Test Method) and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the written examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation
of appointments. Applicant’s appearance in the OMR/CBT examination and oral test is compulsory. The applicant who has not appeared for any of the subjects in the written examination or Oral Test will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures the minimum qualifying marks for selection - For Non-Interview posts: – The Selection will be made in a single stage, based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the written examination and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for final selection through the counseling method. The applicant who has not appeared for any of the subjects in the OMR/CBT examination will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures the minimum qualifying marks for selection.
