ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF HORTICULTURE
No. of Vacancies: 100 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Must possess M.Sc., Degree in Horticulture.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01.07.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600- Rs.39100 with Grade pay Rs.5400/-
HORTICULTURAL OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Must possess B.Sc., Degree in Horticulture
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years and 32 years for Post Graduate degree or Ph.D holders in Horticulture as on 01.07.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300- Rs.34800 with Grade pay Rs.5100/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. The Written examination will be held on 24.02.2018 and 25.02.2018.
The examination will be held in Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai. Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST/ PWD/ DW/ MBC/ DC/ BC/ BCM/ EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) (See Application form’s link given below) on or before 27.12.2017.
Note: Candidates will have to first Register themselves in One Time Registration by paying a registration fee of Rs.150/-. Candidates who have already registered themselves before are exempted from this process.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
