No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (GT(G)-1; GT(PSTM)-1; BC(G)-1)
Educational Qualification:
(i) B.E degree in Printing Technology
Or
(ii) (a) Must possess minimum general educational qualification as prescribed in the Schedule to Part II of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules (Now brought under Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016) and a diploma in Printing Technology (letter Press or Offset)
OR
(ii) (b) Must possess minimum general educational qualification as prescribed in the Schedule to Part II of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules (Now brought under Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016) and a diploma in Printing Technology with any elective subject awarded under the revised integrated pattern of course.
AND
(ii) (c) Practical experience in Letter Press or Offset printing in a reputed printing press for not less than five years, out of which two years must be in a supervisory capacity.
Preferential Qualification:
- A pass in the examination in Typography or Lithography conducted by the City and Guilds Institute, London.
- A pass in the examination in Costing by any Institute recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu or by the Government of India.
- Completion of one year of Apprenticeship in the Printing Technology either under Government of India Scheme or under the government of Tamil Nadu Apprenticeship Scheme.
- A Degree from any University recognised by the University Grants Commission.
Age Limit: 18 yrs – 30 yrs as on 01.07.2017. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidate will be based on written examination and oral test in the shape of an interview.

Examination will be held on 25.06.2017 at Chennai Centres.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.125/- as Examination Fee. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF ST, SC, DIFFERENTLY ABLED PERSONS, AND DESTITUTE WIDOW OF ALL COMMUNITIES.
Examination fee can be paid online or at State Bank of India/ Indian Bank. Applicants have to register their basic particulars through One-Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.50/- towards registration fee.
Last date for payment of Fee through Bank (State Bank of India /Indian Bank) is on 31.03.2017.
