1. PRINCIPAL (GROUP-A)
No. of Vacancies: 25 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Master Degree from recognized university with at-least 50% marks in aggregate.
ii) B. Ed or equivalent teaching degree.

Desirable: i) At least 03 years experience as House Master of a fully residential school.
ii) Experience of working in a fully residential/ CBSE affiliated/ Govt. recognized school.
iii) Proficiency in English and Hindi/ Regional Language.

Name of the Subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Geography, Hindi, History, Maths, Physics & IT.
Educational Qualification: i) Two year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR

ii) B.Ed. Degree.
iii) Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: i) Experience as TGT in recognized institution in concerned subject.
ii) Experience of working in a residential school.

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 14/02/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.47600-151100/-
The vacancies are in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) HQ and for its Regional Offices across the country.
The selected candidates will initially be on Probation for a period of two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview wherever applicable. The Examination will be held at various centres across India. The Written Examination is tentatively scheduled during last week of March, 2019.
