2. TRADE APPRENTICES

Name of the Trades: Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist and Accountant.

Educational Qualification: Matric with two year ITI (full time regular course) in respective trade from recognized University/ Institute.
For Accountant: Full time Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.10.2018.
Notes:
i) Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications are not eligible to apply.
ii) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act.
iii) Candidates who have training or job experience for a period of one year or more after acquiring the prescribed qualifications, will not be eligible for being engaged as Technician Apprentice.
iv) Candidates for the post of Technician Apprentices should not have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination as on 31.10.2018.
The candidates will undergo One year apprenticeship training at operating locations of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Tripura & West Bengal.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Personal Interview. Tentative date of Written Test is 18/11/2018.
