1. TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 170 Nos.

Discipline wise vacancies:

i) Chemical Engineering: 12 posts
ii) Civil Engineering: 04 posts
iii) Computer Engineering: 15 posts
iv) Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 48 posts
v) Electronics and Communication Engineering: 07 posts
vi) Instrumentation and Control Engineering: 04 posts
vii) Mechanical Engineering: 73 posts
viii) Mining Engineering: 07 posts

 

Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized State Council/ Board/ University/ Institution in relevant discipline.

NOTE: Only candidates hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Union Territories of Pondicherry and Lakshadweep are eligible to apply.

 

Consolidated Pay: Rs.12185/- per month.

 

The selected candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.

Note:-
i) The candidates who have passed their Diploma in Engineering during the year 2017/ 2018/ 2019 are only eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/ or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the Educational Qualification and Certificate Verification. The candidates will have to appear for Certificate Verification at Chennai on 17/06/2019.
