1. TRADE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 319 Nos.
Name of the Trades: Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Draughts’Man (Mech), Welder, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, R&AC, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic and PASAA.
Educational Qualification: SSC/ Matric/ X Standard and ITI (NCVT) in relevant trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years (35 years in case of Displaced Persons from VSP site) as on 01/02/2019.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of One year under the Apprentices Act,1961 in various trades at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited- Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Technical Training Institute.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. The Written Test will be conducted at Technical Training Institute (TTI), Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) in the second week of March 2019.

Before applying for the post of Trade Apprentice, candidates should first register themselves as Apprentices in the Govt. web portal- www.apprenticeship.gov.in
Candidates must also enclose 01 (22cm x 10 cm) Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.10/-.
