Educational Qualification: 8th Standard pass. ITI in Fitter trade is desirable.

Age Limit for all the trades: Should have completed 14 years and below 21 years as on 01/04/2019.

 

Note: For all the above trades candidates should have scored above 50% marks in Matriculation or equivalent and above 65% marks in the relevant ITI trade.

The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of One/ Two years at Dockyard Apprentices School, Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY), Karwar, Karnataka under Apprentices Act, 1961.

Candidates who have already undergone or undergoing apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961 in any other Govt. / Public Sector / Private Industrial organization are not eligible to apply.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test/ Interview. The Written Test/ Interview is likely to be held in the month of January / Feburary 2019.
