xii) Shipwright (Wood)/ Carpenter: 12 posts
xiii) Sheet Metal Worker (SMW): 08 posts
xiv) Diesel Mechanic: 16 posts
xv) Tailor (General): 04 posts
xvi) Cutting and Sewing Machine Operator: 04 posts

Educational Qualification: Matric/ Standard X with a minimum of 50% marks and ITI Examination in relevant trade with aggregate 65% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 21 years as on 01/10/2019.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 at Naval Ship Repair Yard, Kochi in different trades.
Note: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 in any Govt./ Public Sector/ Private Industrial Organization are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards: The candidates should possess the minimum physical standards given in the Official Advt. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification, Written Test and Oral Examination.
