TRADE APPRENTICES

Trade wise vacancies:
i. Welder: 09 posts
ii. Electrician: 12 posts
iii. Fitter: 21 posts
iv. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 03 posts
v. Carpenter: 03 posts
vi. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic: 01 post
vii. Electronics Mechanic: 05 posts
viii. Turner: 04 posts
Educational Qualification: Passed ITI in respective trade.
Age Limit: Completed 14 years as on 31.07.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 5924/- for 1st year, Rs. 6770/- for 2nd year & Rs.7616/- for 3rd year per month.
The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under Apprenticeship Act 1961, in the Mechanical &Electrical Engineering Department, Visakhapatnam Port Trust. The training will be for a period of One (01) year except for Carpenter trade which will be for Two (02) years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification and Certificate Verification.
