TRADE AND TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES

DETAILS REGARDING QUALIFICATION, NAME OF TRADES/ DISCIPLINES AND AGE ARE GIVEN BELOW:
2. TRADE APPRENTICE
Name of the trades: Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic & Machinist.
Educational Qualification: Matric with two year ITI course in respective trade from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.10.2018.
3. TRADE APPRENTICE (ACCOUNTANT)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.10.2018.
4. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
Name of the disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics & Electronics.
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.10.2018.
Note:
i) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training.
ii) Candidates, who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of above qualifications, shall not be eligible for being engaged as Technician Apprentice.
iii) The candidates for the post of Technician Apprentices should not have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship training for a period of One year in different trades/ disciplines in Marketing Division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) in Western Region.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Personal Interview.
