The vacancies are for Research bases of National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCAOR) in Antarctica for the season 2019-2021. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially for a period of Four (04) months or Fourteen (14) months depending upon the need and suitability of the candidates. The Contract may be extended by few months based on the requirement. 3. CRANE OPERATOR

Educational Qualification: Heavy motor vehicle license and atleast 01 year of operating hydraulic cranes preferably of capacity of more than 20 metric tons.

4. STATION ELECTRICIAN

10. MALE NURSE
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in General Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing as approved by Indian Nursing Council or Diploma in Operation Theatre Technique or equivalent or Certificate in relevant subject from a recognized Institute.
Experience: Four years post qualification relevant experience.

11. LAB TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical) or Bachelor degree in Physical Sciences/ Instrumentation.
Experience: Minimum 02 years relevant experience in handling scientific laboratory equipment as laboratory attendant or project assistant or technical/ scientific assistant or equivalent.

12. COMMUNICATOR

13. INVENTORY/ BOOKKEEPING STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 12th pass, ITI Certification in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) or equivalent trade with 04 years relevant experience.

Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent with 02 years working experience in relevant field.

14. CHEF/ COOK
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or Culinary Art from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
Experience: i) Two years of experience in a registered firm/ airlines/ hotel/ food chain.
ii) Capable of handling 50 to 60 persons on a daily basis.
