Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2019 (Including SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course). On the basis of the result of Combined Defence Services Examination, candidates will be selected for 417 posts for different course going to be conducted by Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer’s Training Academy. UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (I), 2019 (INCLUDING SSC WOMEN (NON-TECHNICAL) COURSE). LAST DATE — 26.11.2018

 

1. INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY, DEHRADUN
No. of Vacancies: 100 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02/01/1996 and not later than 01/01/2001.

 

2. INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY, EZHIMALA
No. of Vacancies: 45 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02/01/1996 and not later than 01/01/2001.

 

3. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, HYDERABAD
No. of Vacancies: 32 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 24 years as on 01/01/2020. (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years).
Note: Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried.

 

4. OFFICERS’ TRAINING ACADEMY, CHENNAI (MADRAS) (SSC MEN COURSE)
No. of Vacancies: 225 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02/01/1995 and not later than 01/01/2001.

 

5. OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY, CHENNAI (SSC WOMEN NON-TECHNICAL COURSE)
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02/01/1995 and not later than 01/01/2001.

 

On the basis of the result of Combined Defence Services Examination, the candidates will be selected for different course going to be conducted at the above mentioned Academy.

Only Unmarried Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.

Candidates who are studying in the final year/ semester Degree course can also apply.

 

Physical Standards: Candidates should possess the minimum physical standards given in the Official Advt.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and SSB Interview. The Examination will be conducted on 03/02/2019. The Examination will be held at various centres across India.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — www.upsc.gov.in

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 200/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See released advertisement for more details.

NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/FEMALE CANDIDATES.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — www.upsc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) on or before 26.11.2018.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
