1. NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY
No. of Vacancies: 342 Nos. (Army-208, Navy-42, Air Force-92)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Army Wing:- 12th Class pass (10+2) or equivalent examination from recognized Board/ University.
ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings:- 12th Class pass (10+2) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02/07/2000 and not later than 01/07/2003.
2. NAVAL ACADEMY (10+2 CADET ENTRY SCHEME)
No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 12th Class pass (10+2) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02/07/2000 and not later than 01/07/2003.

Only unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
Physical Standards: The candidates should be physically and mentally fit and should possess the minimum physical standards given in the Official Advt. Please see the Official Advt. for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and SSB Test/Interview. The examination will be held on 21st April, 2019. The examination will be held at various centres across India.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 100/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST/ SONS OF SERVING/EX-SERVICEMEN IN THE INDIAN NAVY/ INDIAN AIR FORCE ARE ALSO NOT REQUIRED TO PAY THE PRESCRIBED FEE IF THEY ARE STUDYING IN MILITARY SCHOOL (FORMERLY KNOWN AS KING GEORGE’S SCHOOL)/ SAINIK SCHOOL RUN BY SAINIK SCHOOLS SOCIETY CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — upsc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 09.01.2019 to 04.02.2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
