VETERINARY ASSISTANT SURGEON CLASS-II
No. of Vacancies: 87 Nos. (ST. Out of the total posts, 29 posts are reserved for Women candidates)
Educational Qualification:
i) Bachelor Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science or its equivalent qualification from any recognized University.
ii) Must be registered under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act.
iii) The candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have passed at least an examination in Odia language equivalent to that of Middle English School Standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or the Education Department of the Govt. of Odisha or any other Board or Council of Secondary Education approved by the Govt. of Odisha in support of passing of Odia Language (M.E School Standard).
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
The vacancies are of Odisha Veterinary Service under Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department. The posts are Temporay but likely to be made Permanent. The vacancies are against Special Recruitment Drive for ST candidates only. The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of Two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be given as per Govt. rules.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Viva Voce Test. The Written Examination will be held at Cuttack/ Bhubaneswar.
