West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 298 posts of Assistant Manager (HR&A/ F&A), Junior Executive (Finance) and Office Executive. WBSEDCL INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 298 POSTS OF ASSISTANT MANAGER (HR&A/ F&A), JUNIOR EXECUTIVE (FINANCE) AND OFFICE EXECUTIVE. LAST DATE — 31/12/2015

 

1. Assistant Manager (HR&A): 16 Nos. (UR-07; SC-04; ST-01; OBC-01; PWD-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and MBA (2 years’ full time course)/MPM (2 years’ full time course)/MHRM (2 years’ full time course) with major specialization in Personnel Management/ H.R or PostGraduate full time Degree/Diploma (2 years’ course) with specialization in Personnel Management/H.R
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-

 

2. Assistant Manager (F&A): 17 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and passed Final Examination from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India or MBA (2 years’ full time) with major specialization in Finance or PG Diploma with specialization in Finance
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-

 

3. Junior Executive (Finance): 20 Nos. (UR-08; SC-04; ST-01; OBC-03; PWD-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university plus either passed in Intermediate Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost Accountants of India or candidate having P.G Diploma in Finance and Accounts from any University
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4700/-

 

4. Office Executive: 245 Nos. (UR-105; SC-48; ST-14; OBC-40; PWD-28; Ex-Serviceman – 10)
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in HS level.
Candidates must have passed certificate course/any other courses on Computer (For e.g. Diploma/ “O” level/ Vocational/ Degree or any other equivalent in computer recognized by Govt.)
Note: Computer Certificate Course from any Private Computer Training Institute or any other Computer Centre/ Institute Not Affiliated to WBSCTE (West Bengal State Council of Technical Education) or NIELIT (formerly DOEACC Society, Govt. of India) will not be accepted.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.6300- Rs.20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.4700/-

 

Note:
(i) Candidates having adequate knowledge in communicating in Bengali / Nepali language will be  preferred.
(ii) Candidates with Degree obtained from Open University/Distance Learning Mode /Part Time/ Sandwich Course are not eligible to apply.
(iii) Candidates selected for the vacancies will be on probation for one year.
(iv) Selected candidate(s) shall be posted across various establishments of WBSEDCL in the State of West Bengal.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Interview.
The Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Interview will be held in Kolkata only.

The Written Test will cover the tests for General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning, General English and Arithmetic, apart from tests of knowledge in the respective professional subjects/areas. The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will cover MS Office (i.e.MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point). Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Manager (HR&A)/ Assistant Manager (F&A)/Jr. Executive (Finance) will have to undergo one Descriptive type test.

Tentative Date of Written Examination is 07/02/2016.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.300/- for the post of Office Executive and Rs.400/- for the posts of Assistant Manager (HR&A/ F&A) and Jr. Executive (Fin) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST, PWD AND EXEMPTED CANDIDATES.

One candidate can apply for one post only under this notification. Candidates applying for more than one post will not be considered and their application will be rejected.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and other copy, along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/ mark sheet,  age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), is to be send at the below given address so as to reach on or before 11/01/2016
