Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies: 50 Nos. (Reservation as per norms.)
Educational Qualification: Full Time 4 years’ B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined)/B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years’ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Power Engineering/ Bachelor’s degree holders in Electrical/ Power/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Technology (3 years after Diploma in Engineering/ Technology) from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs.
Final year candidates are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01.01.2015. Upper age relaxation of 3 Years for OBC (A) & OBC (B) and 5 Years for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal only.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- & Grade Pay: Rs. 5,400/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be on basis of GATE – 2016.
Candidates willing to apply for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) in WBSEDCL are required to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2016).
