West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) invites application for TET for 4900 Pass Graduate Teachers. Last Dt. 11/02/2014

The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) is going to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examination for Pass Graduate vacancies on 9th March,2014. Total vacancies to be filled through this TET are 4900 Nos. Interested and eligible candidates, who want to be teacher for Class V to Class VIII, may submit their Application form on prescribed OMR Form which can be purchased from the listed Post Office. Educational qualification norms and brief details are given below —

TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (TET)
Expected number of vacancies to be filled through this TET: 4900 Nos.

TET will be conducted by West Bengal Central School Service Commission for the Pass Graduate Teacher strictly following NCTE guideline and West Bengal School Service Commission Rule, 2007.
This is for Pass Graduate Teacher only and for teaching in Class V to Class VIII.

Educational Qualification norms for TET for Pass Graduate Teacher only for Class V to VIII:
Candidates with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for reserved categories) at Graduation OR Master Degree level examination, may purchased and fill the application for TET.

N.B: The candidates who does not have requisite minimum marks for appearing TET or who only wants to sit for Hons/PG vacancies shall be allowed to purchase Form & Brochures kit from 12th February, 2014 to 25th February, 2014. However, such applicants 13th RLST (AT) will be allowed to submit the application after Public Notice in this regard mentioning vacancies available for each subject, Category & Regional Commission as will be notified in this regard in future (tentatively in the month of April,2014)

The candidates who also want to sit for Honours /Post Graduate vacancies through 13th RLST (AT) may appeared for TET along with next 13th RLST (AT) examination and such candidates may submit application of RLST in prescribed format to the respective Regional Commission for which they will be interested to apply after publication of Notice of 13th RLST (AT) during the month of April, 2014.

The forthcoming advertisement regarding 13th RLST (AT) 2013 may be published by the West Bengal School Service Commission during the month of April 2014.
Question of 13th RLST (AT) examination may be subjective/objective as per discretion of the Commission.

Application Fee for TET: Candidates willing to sit for TET shall pay Application Fee of Rs.250/- (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs.80/- for SC/ST/PH candidates.

How to Apply: Interested and willing candidates may purchased the prescribed OMR Form which will be available at 847 Post Offices all over the West Bengal. See the list of such post offices from the below given PDF files.
The duly filled Application form shall be submitted strictly at the same Post-Office from where the form has been issued.

Starting date of available of OMR Form from the Post Offices: 30/01/2014
Last date of available of OMR Form : 08/02/2014 (5 PM).  Extended to 11/02/2014 (1 PM)
Last date of submission of OMR Form at respective Post Office: 08/02/2014  Extended to 11/02/2014 (4 PM)

Starting date of selling of OMR Form to candidates willing to sit for Honors/Post Graduate Teacher: 12/02/2014
Last date of selling of Form for H/PG Teacher: 25/02/2014.

• Before applying online, candidates must prepare the Demand Draft of prescribed application fee. 
• After submission of online Application, candidates shall print-out the system generated of the online application. The print-out along with Draft, 04 copies of passport size photographs and self-attested copies of educational qualification is to be submitted at WBCSSC by 20th February,2014.

It is hereby notified for the candidates of 13th RLST that Public Notice in this regard vide Memo No. 209/5277/CSSC/ESTT/2014 dated 29-01-2014 is available at the official website of the West Bengal School Service Commission i.e. www.westbengalssc.com & www.wbsschelpdesk.com.

Forms & Brochure shall be available from 140 branches of Allahabad Bank throughout West Bengal for the period from 03.03.2014 to 22.03.2014.

Fees structure for RLST: (a) General/ OBC candidates= Rs. 250/- & (b) SC/ ST/ PH candidates= Rs. 80/-

Minimum marks and criteria for 13th RLST (AT) will be governed by the School Service Commission rules, 2007 as on date. Notice with available vacancy in this regard and details of submission of filled in application forms will be published later on.
