INSPECTOR OF FACTORIES
Total Vacancies – 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; and At least 5 (five) years experience in an Engineering Workshop or Plant of repute.
NOTE: Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali)
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Not more than 36 years as on 01.01.2022. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: West Bengal Factories Service Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., (i) Preliminary Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Question) and (ii) Main Examination (Conventional Type) followed by Personality Test.
Candidates selected on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Main Examination and those selected on the basis of results of the Main Examination will be called to appear at the Personality Test.
