MEDICAL OFFICER (AYUSH)
No. of Vacancies: 459 Nos. (Gen-179, SC-84, ST-91, OBC-84, PWD-21)
Educational Qualification:
i) Candidate should have BHMS/ BAMS/ BUMS Degree from any recognized Institution. BHMS will include Graded BHMS Degree also.
ii) Must have completed compulsory Internship.
iii) Should have Registration Certificate of respective council.
iv) Candidates holding MD in Homeopathy/ Ayurvedic/ Unani from any recognized Institution will be given additional weight age.
v) Candidate should be a permanent resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/04/2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: The selection of candidates will be on the basis of Merti list, Verification of Documents and Bengali Test.
