Educational Qualification –
- M.Sc. degree in Nursing acquired from a recognized University or B.Sc. Degree in Nursing obtained from a recognized University with at least five years’ experience serving under this State Government in the cadre of West Bengal Nursing Service or West Bengal General Service;
- Knowledge of Bengali – spoken and written
Age –
- Not more than 50 years on the 1st day of January of the year of advertisement, relaxable by the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board, West Bengal for otherwise well-qualified candidates.
Pay Scale –
- Rs.35,800/- to Rs.92,100/- in Level 12 of WBS (ROPA) Rules 2019
Upper Age Relaxation-
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection:
- A candidate should verify from the notified eligibility criteria to ascertain whether he/ she is eligible for submission
of an application. The conditions prescribed cannot be relaxed. The recruitment will be made by selection(direct
recruitment) following the method specified below. However, if many applications are received as a
result of the Advertisement, the Board for the purpose of short-listing may hold a preliminary examination.
