NOTE: This is re-open of online application form giving opportunity to those candidates who have not applied earlier because of not possessing the below said training from a recognized institution. The Authority have now relaxed the norms. Now the candidates who do not possess the below said training may also apply however such candidates will have to acquire the training within prescribed time frame after joining/selection to the post.
Candidates who have applied earlier do not need to apply anew.
FOOD SAFETY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 179 Nos. (UR-91, SC-40, ST-11, BC-31,PWD-06 )
Educational Qualification:
i) Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Bio- Chemistry or Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University.
OR
ii) Holder of any other equivalent / recognized qualification notified by the Central Government.
iii) Successfully completed training as specified by the food Authority in a recognized institute or institution approved for the purpose.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-36 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000 – Rs.40,500 and Grade Pay Rs.4400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
