POSTAL ASSISTANT: 51 Posts
SORTING ASSISTANT: 25 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant: Class 12 pass or equivalent. Candidates will require to furnish a basic computer training certificate (minimum 60days duration course) before issuance of the appointment letter.
Postman: Class 12 pass. Knowledge of local language i.e. Bengali (Bengali or Nepali in case of Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri division). Candidates will require to furnish a basic computer training certificate (minimum 60days duration course) before issuance of the appointment letter.
Sports Eligibility: Candidates must be meritorious Sportsperson. See detailed notification (link given below).
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Between 18 – 27 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
