Public Service Commission, West Bengal (West Bengal PSC) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 15 posts of Sub-Inspector of School (Madrasah Education). PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, WEST BENGAL (WEST BENGAL PSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 15 POSTS OF SUB-INSPECTOR OF SCHOOL (MADRASAH EDUCATION) . LAST DATE — 10/05/2016

 

1. Sub-Inspector of School (Madrasah Education): 15 Nos. (Gen- 06, SC-04, ST-01, OBC(A)-02, OBC(B)-01, PWD-01)

Educational Qualification:
i) Second Class Master Degree or Second Class Honours Degree with at least 50% Marks or Equivalent.
ii) Candidates must have obtained minimum 55% marks in Madhyamik and 50% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
iii) Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching or Education or equivalent
iv) Good Knowledge of Bengali – Spoken and Written not required in case of Nepali candidates.
v) Candidates must have ability to undertake extensive tour on official duty.

Desirable:
i) Teaching experience in School
ii) Proficiency in Games and Sports
iii) Ability to organize extra-curricular activities
iv) Should be acquainted with social customs and culture of the Minorities of West Bengal.

 

Essential Requirement: Candidates must have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (Not applicable for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali)

 

Age Limit: Not more than 32 years and not less than 23 years as on 01.01.2016.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.9,000/- Rs.40,500/- and Grade Pay Rs.4, 700/- plus other allowances.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Note: Candidates belonging to reserved category of other state will be treated as General candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Interview but if the number of application received is in large then Commission may hold Screening Test.

Candidates selected for the post will be on permanent basis under the department of Minority Affairs & Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal.
