WEST BENGAL PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (PSCWB) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 200 POSTS OF WEST BENGAL WORKS ACCOUNTANT RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION, 2018. LAST DATE — 09/08/2018

 

WEST BENGAL WORKS ACCOUNTANT RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION, 2018

No. of Vacancies: 200 Nos. (UR-100, SC-44, ST-12, OBC-34, MSP-04, PWD-06)

 

Educational Qualification:

i) Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Commerce from a recognized University.
ii) An elementary knowledge in Computer Operation and Computer typing from a recognized Institute for not less than six months.
iii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the State).

 

Age Limit: Maximum 39 years as on 01.01.2018.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.7, 100/- to 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,600/-

 

On the basis of the result of West Bengal Works Accountant Recruitment Examination, 2018 the candidates will be selected to the posts in the West Bengal Works Accounts Service.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for BC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination and Main Examination (Written Examination, Personality Test & Test on Computer Efficiency). The Preliminary Examination will be held at various centres in Kolkata, Burdwan, Medinipur, Berhampore, Siliguri and Darjeeling tentatively in the month of September, 2018. The Main Examination will be held in Kolkata only. The Personality Test will be held in the office of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal, in Kolkata.

Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
