Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) is recruiting eligible candidates for 94 posts of Aircraft Technician, Skilled Tradesmen – Upholstery and Painting Trades. Interested and eligible candidates may appear directly for the Walk-in-Interview along with prescribed application/testimonials on below mentioned scheduled dates and venue. Selected candidates will be posted at Trivandrum, Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL, MRO) or any other station/MRO as required by the company. Candidates will be engaged on contractual basis for the period of five years. AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 87 Nos. (SC-13, ST – 07, OBC -24, General- 43)
Educational Qualification: AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Institutions with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Candidates from DGCA Approved AME Training Institute as per current list are who eligible.
OR
For Ex-servicemen: Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Air frame/ Engine/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio trades conducted by the Indian Air force, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.
OR
At least four years course / Diploma in Aircraft/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio Artificer training, conducted by Indian Navy, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.
OR
Diploma in Engineering (3 Years) in Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering or equivalent with 60% marks/equivalent grade ( 55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Experience: Atleast 01 years Aviation experience post-qualification on B737-800 Aircraft Maintenance or B737-800 Aircraft components.
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years as on 01/06/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20000/- per month.
2. SKILLED TRADESMEN (UPHOLSTERY AND PAINTING TRADES)
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (SC-01, ST -01, OBC- 02, General-03)
Educational Qualification: ITI in painting / Upholstery, issued by Govt. of India or KGTE / KGCE, issued by state Govt. with minimum 3 years work experience in aviation industry/airline post-qualification in painting/ Upholstery trades.
Age Limit: Maximum- 45 years as on 01/06/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20000/- per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Walk-In Interview, Trade Test and Pre-employment Medical Examination.
