JUNIOR ASSISTANT (FIRE SERVICE)
No. of Vacancies: 69 Nos. (UR-30, SC-01, ST-28, OBC-10)
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass+3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with minimum 50% marks
OR
12thPass(Regular Study) with 50% marks.
Candidates must have Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License OR Valid Medium Vehicle Driving License issued at least one year before 15.01.2018 OR Valid Light Motor Vehicle Driving License issued at least two years before 15.01.2018.
Candidates who are domicile of Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Meghalaya are only eligible to apply for the above post.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 15.01.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.12,500- Rs.28,500
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 167 Cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 Cms; Chest (expanded) — 86 Cms; Weight — 55 Kg
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 Cms; Weight — 45 Kgs.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Computer Based (Online) Test, Medical Fitness/Physical Measurement Test, Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test and Certificate/Documents verification.
Driving test will be conducted on Light Motor vehicle.
Computer Based (Online) Test will be held in Guwahati, Agartalaand Silchar (including city suburbs).
