Airports Authority of India (AAI) is recruiting Senior Assistant (Electronics) under Special Recruitment Drive reserved for SC, ST and OBC categories at various airports in the states of Eastern Region. Candidates who are domicile of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Andaman & Nicobar Island (Port Blair) are eligible to apply. Educational Qualification norms and brief details are given below —
Name of the Post: SENIOR ASSISTANT (ELECTRONICS)
Number of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (SC—02; ST—04; OBC—3)
Educational Qualification: 03 years of Diploma in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering and 02 years relevant experience in the discipline.
Candidates who are domicile of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Andaman & Nicobar Island (Port Blair) are eligible to apply
Age Limit: 18 years to 30 years as on 24/05/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.14500—33500 plus other allowances as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Only those candidates who qualify written test will be called for Interview. Written Test will be conducted in any Airport of Eastern Region.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply shall pay Rs.400/- (Only for OBC candidates) in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of – “Airports Authority of India” payable at “Kolkata”. Candidates must write their name on the back side of the DD.
NO FEE FOR SC/ST/ WOMEN AND EX-SERVICEMAN CANDIDATES.

Also enclose 02 recent passport size photographs, one affixed on application attested by self and other one stapled and mentioned name of the candidate on back side should be enclosed in a small envelope mentioning name of candidate.
