JUNIOR ASSISTANT (FIRE SERVICE)
No. of Vacancies: 170 Nos. (UR-96, SC-14, ST-23, OBC-37)
Educational Qualification: (i) 10th pass + 3 years approved regular diploma in Mechanical /Automobile / fire with minimum 50% marks OR 12th Pass ( Regular Study with 50% marks).
(ii) Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License or valid Medium Vehicle Driving License issued at least one year before 31.12.2017 or valid Light Motor Vehicle Driving License issued at least two years before 31.12.2017.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 31.12.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.12500- Rs.28500
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
NOTE: Candidates who are domicile of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh & Goa are only eligible to apply for the above posts in the Western Region.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 167 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 86 cm; Weight — 55 Kgs
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157cms; Weight — 45 Kgs
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Computer Based (Online) Test, Driving Test, Medical Fitness/ Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test. Computer Based (Online) Test will held be in Mumbai/ Ahmadabad/ Bhopal/ Aurangabad.
Selected candidates will be on Training for a period of 18 weeks.
