Age limit: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/3/2012, i.e. born between 2/3/1984 to 1/3/1994. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST- 5yrs, PH- 10yrs, widow, legally divorced women (not remarried)- 10yrs, Ex-Serviceman and others—as per norms.
Qualification: Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Bachelor degree (pass marks for SC/ST/PH) in aggregate may apply. Candidates should have ability to operate computer and know word processing on PC. Candidates belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a or should have passed the matriculation/ equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
Pay Scale: Rs.8040 to Rs.20100
Selection steps: Selection will be through Written Examination and Interview. Written Examination will of Objective types of 200 marks on followings—(I) Test of Reasoning (ii) Test of English Language (iii) Test of Numerical Ability (iv) Test of General Awareness and (v) Test of Computer Knowledge, each part carrying 40 marks. A candidate has to qualify in each part of the Objective test separately.
Written Examination will hold on 29th April 2012 (Sunday) at their respective centres.
How to apply: Candidates will require to apply through Online system from the official website of Reserve Bank of India— http://www.rbi.org.in
Visit the bank’s website and carefully fill the online application. After submission, Registration No. and Password will appear on the screen. Memorize it or print-out it. Registration no. and password will be also emailed to the candidates. A system generated fee challan will be available. Candidates should print-out the generated fee challan and deposit the amount of Rs.385 in any branch of Bank of Baroda / Bank of India /Indian Overseas Bank / Central Bank of India / Punjab National Bank / United Bank of India.
N.B: Fee payment will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days at any branch of bank listed above. No fee is required for SC/ST and PH candidates.
Fee can be paid online through Credit card/ Debit card. More information can be found on website of Reserve Bank of India.
Candidates will require to upload scan image of color passport size photographs and signature in jpg format during online registration.
