BARC INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 31 POSTS OF SUB OFFICER / B, DRIVER-CUM-OPERATOR /A,TECHNICIAN / B (MASON), DRIVER, FIREMAN, SECURITY GUARD AND WORK ASSISTANT /A. LAST DATE — 09.01.2016

 

1. Sub Officer / B : 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent + Sub Officer’s Course from National Fire Services College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre. Persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving licence will be given preference.
Experience:-12 years experience as Leading Fireman or 15 years’ experience as Fireman/Driver-cum-Operator.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on last date of application
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34800/- Grade pay- Rs.4200/-

 

2. Driver-Cum-Operator /A: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent with valid Heavy Vehicle Licence.
Experience:- Three years’ Experience. Persons having knowledge of fire-fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguishers etc. will be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-32 years as on last date of application
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 Rs.20200/- Grade pay- Rs.2000/-

 

3. Technician / B (Mason): 02 Nos. (UR-02)
Educational Qualification: SSC/HSC (Both Science & Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate plus Trade Certificate of one year duration.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on last date of application
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 Rs.20200/- Grade pay- Rs.2000/-

 

4. Fireman / A: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centres and having valid Heavy Vehicle driving licence will be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on last date of application
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 Rs.20200/- Grade pay- Rs.1900/-

 

5. Driver Grade (Ordinary): 02 Nos. (UR-02)
Educational Qualification: Must have passed X standard and Possession of a valid driving licence to drive light and heavy vehicles. Knowledge of motor mechanism (The Candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle).
Experience:- Candidates should have three years driving experience for light vehicle and six years for Heavy vehicle.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on last date of application
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 Rs.20200/- Grade pay- Rs.1900/-

 

6. Security Guard: 05 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-02)
Educational Qualification: Must have passed X standard (SSC or Equivalent).
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on last date of application
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 Rs.20200/- Grade pay- Rs.1800/-

 

7. Work Assistant /A: 18 Nos. (UR-11,OBC-04,SC-03)
Educational Qualification: Must have passed X standard (SSC or Equivalent).
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on last date of application
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 Rs.20200/- Grade pay- Rs.1800/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test / Screening Test / Physical Endurance Test / Driving Test / Trade Test wherever applicable.

 

Physical Strandard for the post in Serial. No. 01 / 02 / 04 and 06.

Height : 165 cms (Minimum), Weight : 50 kgs (Minimum)
Chest : 81 cms (normal) & 86 cms (expansion)
Vision : 6/6, without wearing glasses or any other aid.
Night or colour blindness shall be a disqualification.
